- Global Risk
Global Risk provides a range of core services to support the health, safety, and security of Stanford travelers, their research, studies, and work while engaging in university-sponsored and organized activities outside the United States. During travel, Global Risk serves as the University’s lead unit in incident response and crisis management. Global Risk also provides support in navigating immigration and visa-related risks for non-U.S. citizens as well as mitigating legal, financial, data security, and reputational risks as faculty, staff, and students engage with the international community. Travelers should contact Global Risk's assistance partner, Crisis24, if they need emergency assistance while overseas. Individuals can contact Global Risk directly to inquire about information sessions, pre-departure orientations, one-on-one consultations, country risk assessments, and web-based resources.
